In late May of the year 2016 I was asked to return to Japan to begin a series of lectures at the school where I had long ago studied fine arts. Leaving Peru and returning to my homeland filled me with emotions. A curious mix of melancholy was at play in my heart.

This feeling was the inspiration for an artistic partnership with my friend the photographer Tony Akiyama. We pieced together field recordings from my collection and arranged them with a series of photographs that reflected the city of Fukuoka's different neighbourhoods.

After 6 days of work we took our project to the Sun Gallery of Fukuoka and presented our work. This release is the sonic half of our project.
