on australian shores: listening to birds, insects and molluscs is a gathering of field recordings, notes and analogue photographs taken by Pablo Diserens during a short trip along the Australian southeast coast in November 2019. By putting the attention on the various voices of the local fauna, this release pays homage to the wildlife that perished during the Australian bushfire crisis in 2019 and 2020. The combination of sounds, images and texts creates a detailed documentation of the artist’s experience and reflections in situ that infuses the recordings with physical, temporal and political contexts.
All proceeds will go towards the wildlife emergency response fund of Humane Society International that are currently helping the Australian animals affected by the fires.
All field recordings, notes and analogue photographs by Pablo Diserens.
Pablo Diserens is a field recordist, acoustic ecologist and artist based in Berlin. They engage with several sites, contexts and acoustic signatures with a certain physical and listening state to refine the quality of their presence and attention towards what is already there, and then reframe it to create new spaces and sceneries for the audience to explore.

For the past five or six years, Philip Sulidae has been undeniably my favorite artist in the experimental category with field recording. He has this talent for producing the muffled and crisp sounds that plunge us into a sort of calm, mysterious and vaguely sinister dream. He assembles and transforms all his sounds with incredible thoroughness and rigor. I only have one wish: Philip, could you please sell me your unavailable works so that I can enjoy it? !! drone2805

To inaugurate "Hemisphäre", Philip Sulidae is at its best! I can not say too much what seduces me in his art. Is it the balance between the calm passages and the more intense moments, the numerous textures sought, the multiple tracks of subtle details arranged? His work charms me as if he used the secret algorithm of a perfect aesthetic balance. To appreciate it properly, this high level experimental music must be listened to with a good quality headphones! drone2805
