PadraigC I love the night, in general, so I was automatically drawn to this release.
It's so visual, great to conjuring images of urban landscapes,, neon street lights, alleys, liminal spaces.

about

'Every day is thought upon and calculated, but the night is not premeditated.'

Watchman, What of the Night? Is a sonic inquiry into different spaces at nighttime and into night as a state of being. It is based on field recordings and inspired by the dreamlike non-linear logic of Djuna Barnes' novel Nightwood.

Field recordings were made in a wood near Brunswick, Germany and at Cashmere Radio in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
